Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) serves the vital and challenging need to ensure structural integrity of nuclear and pressurized components.

Jointly coordinated by the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), European Commission, JRC, Institute for Energy and Transport, the 9th International Conference on NDE in Relation to Structural Integrity for Nuclear and Pressurized Components provides a topical forum for discussion of these issues.

The conference and exhibition will bring together industry experts from around the globe to discuss and share experiences from all aspects of this important subject. Conference objectives:

  • Provide an up-to-date assessment of the development and application of NDE
  • Facilitate worldwide technical interchange between experts

Building upon the successful format of previous conferences, this three-day event will feature 150 technical presentations with special regard to the links between structural integrity requirements and NDE reliability.

Three parallel tracks will cover all aspects of this topical subject, including:

  • Development and application of improved NDE systems;
  • Establishing NDE performance reliability from the application of qualification systems; and
  • The expanding role of NDE in the evaluation of existing and future nuclear power plant infrastructure such as buried piping systems, concrete structures and modern materials.

Additionally a vendor exposition of organizations that are serving nuclear utilities will allow conference attendees an opportunity to see and discuss NDE technology from around the world.
